Traditional Mu Zha Tie Guan Yin 2015

Package
This is an impressive traditional Tie Guan Yin made in MuZha, Taiwan. A darker roast than newer, greener styles, the first infusion gives rise to an amazing aroma of sticky raisins & moist Christmas fruitcake. The tea liquor is a coppery orange whisky color, the mouthfeel is medium thick & slips across your palate in a lively dance of mild spices, the dry sweetness of preserved plum, underscored by a light charcoal note. A lingering aftertaste of sweet aged wood, turns to a slightly cooling sensation. High quality stuff at a reasonable price, sure to please discerning oolong lovers.
