Yi Shan Mo 2012 Spring

This Yi Shan Mo 一扇磨 puer cake was made from early Spring buds picked from unpruned 200 year old tea trees and stone pressed in Yiwu. The leaves yield a deep yellow liquor with a thick, smooth mouthfeel. The wet leaves present a subtle aroma of sticky rice and meadow flowers. The tea is viscous, with no astringency and is a pleasure to drink.

Nice tea

Review by JN
A light, sweet walnut flavor fills the mouth and delight. Smooth, tingling wet mouth with decent huigan. The flavor of the old leaves is readily discernible. Body is light and not particularly thick. Aroma is subdued. This is a satisfying tea with an enticing flavor, not a powerhouse like the Lao Man E, but very easy drink. Nice tea. (Posted on 3/1/14)
